Dr. Ali Aslankan presented the relationship between social structure and built environment, space and culture concepts, definitions of culture, etc. in his seminar entitled “Spatial Dimensions of Culture in Housing”.
With the presentation of Aslankan, it is possible to understand spatial traces of social, cultural and economic structure of the people who migrated from their places after the Lozan Treaty in 1923, by examining the houses in Alaçatı and Karaburun and also to see the reflection of the theoretical concepts on life.
