RULES FOR STUDIO USAGE

Please keep the studio clean and recycle properly. Poor waste disposal creates an unsafe working environment, attracting pests and contaminating recycling systems.

Anything left on the floor will be thrown out.

All studios will be cleaned after lecture ends. Cleaning staff will not touch the items on the tables so you can leave your belongings on your table.

USAGE

Each student will be able to use his/her studio and model studio (L101) between 08.30-17.00 when there is no lecture. There will be cleaning between 07.00-08.30.

Model making is prohibited in studios except model studio (L101)

There is no need for permission to stay at school out of school hours

Buddy system will be applied in studios. First and second years students will use F101, F102; third and fourth year students will be at C116.

To implement the buddy system, each table will be allocated to 2 students and labelled by name.

Maintain the integrity of the studio.

Do not leave belongings unattended . Do not assume bags, cell phones, or belongings are safe.

Do not move pin-up partitions or desks into critique spaces. Instructors need those areas.

FURNITURE

Please do not tamper with, dismantle, or move the furniture. Do not mount to, attach to, screw into, adhere to, or dismantle any of the chairs or desks.

Do not apply decals, stickers, or used tape or drafting dots to the equipment or furnishings.

Please do not bring/move furniture or appliances into the studio.

ENVIRONMENT

Do not put anything on the walls. If you put something, you can use the cork boards and white board.

Do not store models in materials archive room

Please use music and media quietly or use headphones.

Please do not use spray mount or spray paint in the university. These materials are hazardous, flammable, and they make a mess.

No food is allowed in studio. Do not put your drinks on drawing tables.

Do not make any jokes with any harmful objects.

No smoking allowed in the studio. Smoking is not allowed in any University building.

END OF THE SEMESTER

Please remove all of work, material, and equipment at the end of the semester. Anything left behind will be discarded. Be responsible and recycle.

The projects which are selected for any exhibition should not be left in stuidos/classes. It is your duty to keep them until we ask for them.
