IM2023 COMPETITION AWARDS

 

As the Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design, we are delighted to announce our achievements in the im2023 Interior Architecture Student Projects Competition, where we received two awards and secured a position among the Top 12 in various categories.

Hosted by Yaşar University, Faculty of Architecture, Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design, in collaboration with the TMMOB Chamber of Interior Architects, TMMOB Chamber of Interior Architects Izmir Branch, and Ege Seramik, this year’s competition saw the participation of 482 projects across 5 categories from the Interior Architecture and Interior Architecture and Environmental Design departments in Turkey and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.

Yaşar University Interior Architecture and Environmental Design Department made a notable impact with a total of 68 projects, securing the first position in terms of participation numbers.

Among these, 12 INAR students were recognized as finalists in different categories, with 2 INAR students receiving Mention Prize awards.

Yaşar University Awards:

First Year Category (52 accepted projects):

·        Mention Prize (Ayşenur Kurşun)

·        4 projects (Gökçe İrem Bozkurt, Ezgi Şahin, Kübra Şen, and Buse Kayan) in the top 12

·        12 projects represented Yaşar University in the First-year Category

Second Year Category (141 accepted projects):

·        Mention Prize (İlhami Mavioğlu)

·        3 projects (Eren Başaran x2, Deniz Ercan) in the top 12

·        31 projects represented Yaşar University in the Second-year Category

Third Year Category (143 accepted projects):

·        1 project (Elvan Nerman) in the top 12

·        12 projects represented Yaşar University in the Third-year Category

Fourth Year Category (110 accepted projects):

·        1 project (Özlem Ömür) in the top 12

·        9 projects represented Yaşar University in the Fourth-year Category

Furniture and Lighting Design Category (36 accepted projects):

·        1 project (Eray Can Karabulut – Ahmet Kaan Özatay) in the top 12

·        4 projects represented Yaşar University in the Furniture and Lighting Design Category.
