A technical trip has been arranged to Kavuklar Point Bornova residential building stock on 09.12.2015 via ESSIAD for our students in the scope of “INAR 317 Indoor Environmental Control II” lecture to see the application samples of what they have learnt on building systems during Fall semester.

The aim of the trip: Kadifekale (Arched Cistern and Masjit) and Agora were visited to gain detailed information about historical development and settlement pattern of the area and to see historical traces of the city of İzmir.

In the scope of INAR 315 CAD CAM & Production Technologies course, a technical trip to Polkima, which is from Automotive Sector in Torbali has been done at 17th of November,2015. During our visit, students have been allowed to see various types of production, assembly and molding Technologies.

The aim of the trip: The photography exhibition “İzmir: A Legacy for Tomorrow” that aims to document and leave behind for generations to come the present of İzmir through the lenses of 18 photography artists from Turkey and abroad was visited with the guidance of Mrs. Elie Filidis who is the art guide of the center.

The project instructors and INAR 210(220) students made a trip to Alaçatı Alancha, Alavya, Alaçatı Port ve 7800 Hotel in order to prepare themselves for their main project. They had information about the Alancha project from its designer, Landscape Architect Gürcan Dere.

Cemer Urban Equipments, Torbalı
In the scope of INAR 315 CAD CAM & Production Technologies course, a technical trip to Cemer Urban Equipments in Torbali has been done at 13th of October,2015. During our visit, students have been allowed to see various types of production technologies, and to observe the outputs gathered from different kinds of raw materials (wood,metal,plastic) and various molds. At the same time, they got some informations how to pass the design process from manufacturing process.
The aim of the trip: To be able to gain more detailed information about characteristic buildings and architectural features of Historical Kemeraltı Bazaar, houses, kortejos, mosques, synagogues and khans were visited.
