We would like to announce that the RSA Student Design Awards 2019/20 curriculum (comprised of 9 industry-led design briefs, focused on pressing social, environmental and economic challenges) has now launched http://sda.thersa.org
The RSA competition briefs are open to currently enrolled higher education students from all design disciplines, and we welcome entries from students all over the world.
We are hosting Launch + Tutor briefing events in London (24 September) – tickets are free, but booking is essential.

Our 2019/20 briefs pose tough challenges. And they open up a vast range of possibilities…
How might you design ways to make fashion circular, engage diverse communities through food, or transform health using AI? How could you unlock joy at train stations, make active travel accessible, harness the potential of woodlands or help displaced people to find safety and dignity?
The Awards comprise over £32,000 in cash prizes and paid industry placements for the winning students. The competition will open for entries on 20 January 2020, and the final deadline for entries is 11 March 2020 at 4pm GMT.
